WUDDUP,  I’m Micol Rankin.

I’m 6’4″ and I am a stick figure in real life. I sh*t pon yee not.

I’m from a small town called Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Do you know where that is? I didn’t think so.

Growing up, I was always the “other” guy in the room. Not too much this. Not too much that. Just other.

Never fit a mold per se. I had to master the art of acclimation to my surroundings. But always knew I was a lil’ bit different in how I saw the world.

As I became a grown ass man, I realized the most important thing you can do in this life is BE YOURSELF. No shape shifting. Bring your whole self wherever you are.

I always had big dreams. Always wanted to be and DO something special. So I chased those dreams. Failed a zillion times. Succeeded a zillion more. Learned in every one of em.

I reflect all that journey in my work. Sharing a true version of self that can resonate across brands and properties I touch with my creativity. It’s my little bit o’ brown sugar to add to a pot of gumbo.

Our jobs sometimes force us to follow guidelines and whatnot, so of course I can do that. However, I am always seeking the opportunity to shake sh*t up. Break the rules that were made when possible. Bring something fresh. And take a shot at making something that is memorable and will last a lifetime.
